Storyboard Text

  • This is Soren
  • "AAAAGHHHHHHHHH!"
  • This is Kludd
  • "I can't, it wouldn't be right to have a sibling teach someone in their family to fly instead of their father!"
  • "Please, Kludd teach me to fly!"
  • One night when Soren is sitting on a branch of his family's tree, he contemplates when his parents will be back from their hunt.
  • "Soren is that you!? Do you need help!?"
  • "If you try to help him, so help me, I will throw you down there with him!"
  • "Yes! Yes! Please help me before I get eaten!"
  • Then all of the sudden he "loses his balance" and falls out of the tree. Frantically he flaps his barely feathered wings trying to save himself.
  • "Please, please come home soon!"
  • When Soren falls to the ground he sees his older brother Kludd standing right where he fell out of the tree. He begs his brother to show him how to fly, but Kludd doesn't want to.
  • Soon after the arguing Mrs. Plithiver (their nestmaid) comes out to hear Soren yelling from the bottom of the tree. She asks Soren if he needs help, but Kludd threatens to throw her out of the tree if she tries to help Soren.
  • This is Mrs. Plithiver
  • After Kludd threatens to kill Mrs. Plithiver Soren curls up under the tree hoping that his parents will come home soon so he would be saved.
  •     In the morning after the tree incident, Soren wakes up to find an owl five times the size of him towering over him. The owl picks Soren up and carries him away from Soren's home. The owl carries Soren away to St. Aegolius Academy for Orphaned Owls where the rest of Soren's adventure unfolds.
  • "Put me down! Put me down! Where are you taking me!?"
