  • Wait a minute! If the elements are arranged in order of atomic weight, then there is a periodic similarity of every 8 elements. I shall call it the "Law of octaves".
  • I have created a periodic table of 56 elements based on a regular repeating pattern of physical properties like molar volume. The elements are in order to increase atomic weights.

  • I made an periodic table based on atomic weights but arranged "periodically".
  • Dmitri Mendeleev

  • I can't believe it! I have discovered the noble gases and realized that they represent a new group in the periodic table.

  • I have determined the atomic number of each known elements. If the elements are arranged in order of increasing atomic number rather than atomic weight, they have a better fit with the periodic table.
  • I artificially produced heavy mass elements such as neptunium. These new elements are part of the new block of the periodic table called "actinides".
