The final of a heartwarming tale about love, family and the world's worst dog.
The family has just buried Marley. Scene opens on John placing stones on Marley's grave.
John stands to walk back to the house and his voice is heard. "A dog has no use for fancy cars...or big homes or designer clothes. A waterlogged stick will do just fine. A dog doesn't care if you're rich or poor... clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give 'em your heart and he'll give you his."
As John looks into the window of his home, he sees a previous scene portraying his wife, Jenny, dancing with Marley.
The scene transitions into a close-up of John, smiling at the memory.
Scene transitions back to the window showing present-day Jenny with their three children.
As the scene transitions back to John, he continues walking to the house and is heard again. "How many people can you say that about? How many people can make you feel rare and pure and special? How many people can make you feel... extraordinary?" Scene fades to black.
