Storyboard Text

  • Should I go back to the Corporal? I would be a true and loyal soldier. But the Hessians did take care of me and they didn't kill me.
  • ACTUAL CHOICE
  • I'm going back to my army and my home where I belong! I am a true soldier!
  • ACTUAL OUTCOME
  • I'm not sure I want to kill them.
  • LET'S GO KILL THE HESSIANS!
  • Jonathan wonders if he should go back to his people (Americans). He is torn between the decision of staying with the Hessians who cared about him (but not being a loyal and true soldier), or back to the Americans who didn't care about him, who didn't come looking for the missing soldier.
  • Jonathan chose to go back to the Americans and the Corporal because he thought that is what a loyal and true soldier would do. At the same time, he left the Hessians, who were the enemies, but they took care of him and didn't hurt him.
  • ALTERNATE CHOICE
  • You know what? I think I'm going to stay with the Hessians. They didn't harm me in anyway, in fact, they helped me.
  • When Jonathan went back to the Americans and told him where he was with the Hessians, they set to hunt down the Hessians and kill them. Meanwhile, Jonathan is unsure if that is what he wants to do.
  • ALTERNATE OUTCOME
  • Yes, I think it is about time that he comes back to us. He is a soldier for us.
  •
  • Jonathan stays with the Hessians because he realizes that they care for him, and they would have killed him by now if they didn't. He chooses to not go back to the Continental Army.
  • The Americans start looking for Jonathan, and the Corporal chooses to go to the house because he knows where they are.
  • Where's that little kid? Shouldn't we go looking for him?
