Storyboard Text

  • Today. In the class room of Mr.foxy. He and his assistances will be teaching us the Components of Chemistry.
  • Don't get nervous now pal.
  • What am I, a mouse or a chicken? I hope nobody will laugh at me.
  • Hi students, today we will be starting off with Mr.Table about Valence Electrons.
  • Thank you Mr.Foxy. Now, Valence Electrons are electrons in the outer shell of an Atom, you see. These are the ones which involve forming bonds into adjacent atoms. Also, these are used to create bonds between atoms.
  • What?
  • That mouse!
  • Thank you Mr.Table, now we will carry on.
  • ZZZ!!!
  • Ok. Now, I am going to tell you the Ion numbers in the Periodic Table. These are the Ion numbers, +1, +2, +3, +4 or -4, -3, -2, -1 and 0. Those are the Ion numbers in order from left to right. Remember those students.
  • How long until it's my turn? Even a mouse can teach those students a lesson or two.
  • Now, we are going to give you three examples of element families. The Alkali Metals are the most reactive elements in the Periodic Table. They are only found in compounds, and they are so soft that you can cut them with a plastic knife.
  • OK! Now, the Alkaline Earth Metals are fairly hard gray-white and a good conductor of electricity.
  • The Traditional Metals are hard, shiny and have colorful compounds too.
  • Beta Particles are both strong and weak of radioactive decay. Also, it is a fast moving electron given off by a nucleus during radioactive decay.
  • Now, our last lesson for today are about Alpha, beta, and gamma radioactive decay. Alpha particles are the weakest of radioactive decay. Also, it is consists of two protons, two neutrons and is positively charged.
  • Gamma rays are the strongest of radioactive decay, and it is similar to X-rays also.
  • Today, the students in the class had learned about the Components of Chemistry and Mr. Foxy hopes you had learned something yourself.
  • What is the point of studying the Components of Chemistry when you talk can about cheese instead?
  • Good job for today students! Your homework for tonight is to just remember what we taught you today! You all are dismissed for lunch.
  • Bye for now!
