  • In the story "The Cask Of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe there was many problems between many people. There was Jester named Fortunato that had done things that some people did not like. There was also someone named Montresors that had conflict with Fortunato because there had been problems with Fortunato insulting Montresors family for a long time.
  • Textual Evidence
  • Montresors action were justified because there was a reason for him to do it because Fortunato had been saying many things and because of that that led to Montresors actions.
  • Analysis
  • ive been waiting for this moment for my whole life
  • The main reason that Montresors led him to do what he did was because Fortunato for many years had been doing bad things to Montresors Family and made they were known for the bad things that Fortunato had said.
  • Conclusion
  • In the story it tells you how at the end when Montreosr is going to kill Fortunato and he tells him for all the things he has done and thats why he was going to kill him so he killed him for revenger for all the things he did and said.
  • This shows how Fortunato caused many of these things because of what he did in the past and Montresor finally reacted and killed him.
  • what are you doing!!?
  • Fortunato did something to deserve what he did and MOntresor had a reason to kill him and his action were justified.
