  • EXPOSITION As the famous hunter, Sanger Rainsford boat travels through the trap ship island gunshots are heard in the distance, in the commotion, Rainsford falls off of the boat. Swimming to land, he finds a towering chateau inhabited by two ex-Czar members named Ivan and General Zaroff.
  • BOOM
  •                                         RISING ACTION General Zaroff Recognizes the protagonist as one of the best hunters in the world, apologizes for Ivan and sits him down to dinner, where he tells about his great tales in hunting although he has an ever growing boredom problem. Zaroff explains his boredom in hunting. But his boredom  has drove him to invent and hunt a new animal...Humans. 
  • CONFLICT Rainsford disagrees with General Zaroff's murderous tendencies, after multiple chances to redeem his choices, Zaroff isn't pleased with Rainsford and his views. So Zaroff starts to hunt Rainsford. However Rainsford is able to avoid him time and time again.
  • 
  • Climax Right as Rainsford is about to be caught by General Zaroff and his hounds, Rainsford launches a scented knife, distracting the hounds for a moment, and accidentally killing Ivan, who was keeping the hounds in check. He made his way from his hiding spot to the ground where he barely escaped by sea, leaving Zaroff in shock, as Rainsford just won the game.
  • FALLING ACTION In Zaroffs disbeleif that Rainsford won his game, he has to do everything to calm himself. He ate a very good dinner with had wine, but the only thing keeping his day from pure perfection was the thought that it would be a pain to replace Ivan, and that Rainsford escaped his hunt.
  • Slow humming. . .
  • RESOLUTION After General Zaroff's rather disappointing night was coming to a close, he decided to retire for the night. While he was pondering how Rainsford escaped in his bedroom, Rainsford himself stepped out of his hiding spot in the curtains of the bed. He didn't take well to General Zaroff's congratulating, as He challenged the General to a duel. Zaroff being as eager as he was shocked happily obliged. Rainsford killed Zaroff and fed him to the dogs, and he was then greeted by the best bed he has ever slept in.
