#### Storyboard Text

• Here, Clark is really confused. He has a party coming up, but he is not done with the preparations. He goes to Linda, for help.
• Sure! We will solve it together.
• Hey Linda, would you help me with a little math problem here? It’s for my party!
• coke
• sprite
• total
• So let's first set a ratio table
• 4
• 1
• 5
• Now you try....
• ?
• ?
• 20
• We multiply 5 and 4 to get 20. Whatever we do to the bottom, we will do to the top. So, let’s multiply 4 and 1 by 4 to find the missing number.
• coke
• total
• sprite

• I have a cart of 20 cans. I know that, for every 4 Coke cans, there is 1 can of Sprite. I asked my friends what they prefer, 8 of them want Sprite, will the cans of Sprite in the cart be enough for them, or do I need to buy more?
• What do we have to solve?
• Clark, you have 16 cans of Coke and 4 cans of Sprite in the cart.
• That means I will have to buy more cans of Sprite to give the people who want it.
• Consider the same ratio of Coke cans to Sprite cans. If there are 32 cans in the cart, how many Coke cans will be there?
