  • Book 11: The Land of the Dead
  • Please don't let me rot there alone
  • Book 11: The Land of the Dead
  • They must be punished
  • Book 12: The Sirens, Scylla and Charybidis
  • You have to bevery careful , no man has survived to tell the story
  • Odysseus and his men arrive to the Land of the Dead. As they wander around , Odyssues runs in to Elpenor , who is/was on eof his men but died by faling off Circes roof ad breaking his neck. He asked Him to return to Circes island and properly bury him .
  • Book 12: The Sirens, Scylla and Charybidis
  • I've lost all my men, I'm all alone now
  • Odysseus later meets heroes from the battles , and they explain to him that the only punishment tthat is appropeate for the suitors taking over his wife Penelope's home for granted , is death.
  • Book 16: Father and Son
  • Odysseus returns to Aeaea to properly bury Elpenor ,he then stays the night with Circe and they discuss the obstacles he will face along his journey including the sirens , Scylla and Charybdis . Circe provides Odysseus with advice to help him survive that obstacle that no man has before.

  • Telemachus , I am odyssues your father , I have returned.
  • Following Circe's instructions ,Odysseus ties himself to the ship , has his crew member clog their ears with ear wax to block out the songs of the Sirens.They then pass By the 6 headed monster Scylla who ate a crew member for each of its heads. They get though the whirlpool (Charybdis). But later the rest of his men are killed by a storm created by Zeus , leaving Odysseus alone.
  • Odyssues travels back to Ithaca alone , once he arrives he is greeted by the Goddess Athena who disguises him as an old beggar/men so e is able to find his family undetected by the suitors.
  • As Odyssues goes though Itheca , he comes acroo his son Telemachus. Athena comes back and makes Odyssues young once again and tell him to reveal hisself to his son .
