Narrator: Hello everyone, today, me and Mr.Igneous Rock are going to be telling you how igneous rock are made.
Mr.Igneous Rock: Before becoming an igneous rock I was a sedimentary rock. I was formed by sediments coming together and cementing together.
Narrator: During an earthquake, caused by tectonic plates shifting, he was submerged in the mantle surrounded by magma.
Mr.Igneous Rock: I was eventually melted down by the magma and returned to being just sediments.
Narrator: After a very long time in the magma, the volcano became dormant and it became harder and harder for Mr.Igneous Rock to move around in the lava.
Mr.Igneous Rock: It felt as if I was going through the process of rock formation all over again. And little did I know, I was.
Narrator: The magma got harder and harder over a span of millions of years allowing time for beautiful crystals to grow.
Mr.Igneous Rock: The volcano in which I had lived for millions of years became extinct, and no longer after that, some miners came looking for gold and riches.
ALL: And that is the tale of our friend Mr.Igneous Rock and Igneous rocks around the world.
Narrator: They found Mr.Igneous Rock and his friends and were set on a display case in a museum as a vital reminder how beautiful nature can be.
