  • Louisiana Purchase
  • WE NEED YOUR LAND MORE THAN YOU DO!!!!!
  • Nous sommes fard, nous avons besoin d'argent, donnez-moi de l'argent.
  • Lewis and Clark
  • Leg 3
  • The Louisiana Purchase was bought from France by America. It was purchased for 15 million dollars for 530,000,000 acres!! That's crazy! Jefferson bought it by noting that the Mississippi River was an important part of America.
  • Leg 6
  • Lewis and Clark started on the Missouri River, on May 14,1804. They were welly supplied and had a lot of ammunition. They just didn't have to use there ammo until the way back on the expedition.
  • Leg 15
  • In leg 3 they were in the harsh and cold winter. They decided to build a fort in the Mandan's tribe village. Then they were running out of food, and then they decided to find a place with a great food supply.
  • The Final Expedition
  • In this segment, Lewis and Clark were finally in the right direction, they were headed towards the ''grizzly state'' which Lewis were simply unimpressed with the grizzlies because he thought they were a danger to Indians.
  • In this leg the expedition started heading home and all of the Missouri River was frozen. This would be critical because they wouldn't be able to cross it to get back home.
  • The finally was when they got to St.Louis, it ended on September 23,1806. They traveled 3,700 miles in total, they discovered 178 plants and 122 new animal species. Lewis and Clark were the first to discover the western part of the United States.
