Hey, doctor. I got a question that has been on my mind lately.I was wondering if you could help with it.
So my friends are identical twins and they fell in love this other pair of identical twins...
So the twins ended up marrying the other pair of twins.
Oh good to them!
My question is if each married couple had a child, would the children look the same?
That's a good question, Jim and I think I have the answer.
In a perfect world where mutagens don't exist, then yes since both of the couples have the same DNA as the other and thus the same DNA would have been passed down.
Sadly this isn't a perfect world so it would be very unlikely for the children to look identical because of the twins being exposed to different mutagens than what the other one had experienced.Since mutagens are things that can change DNA, the children wouldn't have the same exact DNA, just slightly different ones.
