This scene of The Game of Love and Death is towards the end of the book. I would say that this is the climax of the story because it is one of the most, or the most action packed, scene of the entire novel. In this scene, Flora decides to go on a plane ride with her sponsor who gifted her the plane, Helen (some background: Death is disguised as Helen). However, Death shows up to the runway disguised as Henry and explains the whole matter of the game to her, but she doesn't believe it. Long story short, Flora gets in the plane with Death and soon realizes that “Henry” isn’t really Henry, but is Death, and the plane explodes. Luckily, Flora survives and is able to be with the real Henry. I enjoyed this scene of the book because, like I already said, it was very action packed and thrilling. I also like this scene a lot because it finally gave genuine insight about how Flora actually felt about Henry instead of her claiming that she was not interested (which clearly was not true). Additionally, I like this scene of the book because, in the middle of the scene, there is a lot of dramatic irony and tension for the reader, for it is revealed that “Henry” at the runway was not actually Henry, but Death, and that the actual Henry was on his way to warn Flora about the game after Ethan’s father, despite his hate for Henry, warned him.
