These are British people who are walking to and from Griffins Wharf. There was a meeting of citizens on measures to prevent the landing of the tea, or secure the people from the collection of the duty. There was a general huzzah for Griffin's Wharf.
There are a lot of British people who are standing in front of the house that was so crowded John Andrews could get no further than the porch. The moderator was just declaring the meeting to be dissolved, which caused another general shout, outdoors and in, and three cheers.
It is now evening and Hewes immediately dressed himself in the costume of an Indian, the tomahawk, and a club. He repaired to Griffins Wharf and fell in with many who were dressed, and who fell in with him.
