In the ocean, there once was 3 friends who lived in the poor village, Scrimy. There is Diana the dolphin who has 2 brothers and 1 sister who work to keep the family eating. Her mom died exploring the ocean and Diana wants to follow in her steps. Then there is Sam the shark who had 5 brothers and a mom and dad. They too struggle for money. The last of the group is Freddy the Fish. He is an only child and has a mom and a dad who are always working and never pay attention to him.
Diana looked and her friends and said, "Do you guys see what I see?" "Please tell me you do?" Sam the shark then said, "We need to go check that out." The little tiny fish said, "I think I see treasure!!" The three friends then headed off towards the ship.
The three Friends Diana, Sam, & Freddy were a very adventureous bunch. They loved to go around the sea and find fun things to do. One day Diana the dolphin had spotted a big ship.
They finally reached the ship and came upon loads of treasure but also... a big blue whale guarding the ship! They got so scared but Sam the shark got an idea. He started swimming towards the ship and bumping into it so that the gold down can fall and he could catch it. The Big Whale came and said, "Who dares take my treasure!?" The 3 friends then looked at oe another and Freddy the fish said, "Run!!"
The Big blue Whale got so angry that he chased the 3 back down to their village. The swam as fast as they could in the water that they soon got tired. Sam the shark still carried the gold crown on his back He only took it because he thought that it would get him lots of money for the entire village.
As soon as they made it back home, the big when stopped them and said, "What are you all up to!" The three friends were speechless and didn't know what to say. As confident as ever, Freddy the very very shy fish came out and began, " I am so terribly sorry Mr. Whale, we only took the crown because we though that it would give us some money to fix our village!" The Big Whale seemed to calm down and told them, "If you would have only asked maybe I would have gave it to you guys."
In the end, Sam the shark gave the crown back to Mr. Whale, but then the big whale said, "You should never take anything without asking for permission first, but I will let you keep the crown to fix this place up." Sam, Freddy and especially Same were very very happy, "Oh thank you, Thank you so much Mr.Whale!" After all, the 3 were known as the hero of the village because they made it much nicer and everyone lived happily ever after.
