What Should you do in this situation or any argument you get in with your parents? Just know that at the end of the day they are you parents and what they say usually goes. Most parents are understanding of our emotions as teenagers yet still fight with us. But others don't understand/like when we lash out, so next time just nod and agree sometimes that's the best thing you can do!
Summary: Jessica really wants to sleepover at a friend's house on the same day as the annual reunion, so instead of Jessica going she got grounded for yelling at her parents and saying things she regretted and didn't mean.
Honey You need to see your family!
I want to go to that sleepover with Sarah! Your so mean, why can't you just let me go like why do you have to be so rude. I wish you weren't my parents!
You're not going to Sarah's house.
If your not going to the reunion the your not going anywhere!
It's okay honey we understand maybe next time you should just try to agree its easier than arguing if you'd like you can go next wee to Sarah's house.
I'm sorry mom and dad I didn't mean it. I love you its just hard to control my emotions. I love you!
I love you too. Have fun at Sarah's next week.
