They left Canada in 1915 and sailed back to England so Johnathan could enlist in WWI.
They landed in Scotland where Johnathan then enlisted.
Ellen then ended up back in London. While they were there they also had another son.
On July 20, 1917 Jonathan Mansfield was killed in action in Loos, France.
March 6, 1919 Ellen returned to Montreal, Canada with her 4 children and lived there until she died in 1973.
The family continued to live in Montreal until Carol Burns and Ronald Eagle (My grandparents) moved to Burlington, Ontario in 1978.
