The False Prince
By adalbon, Updated
POV 1st Person
Yes, I did steal it but I don't need it, it makes me fake.
I thought you must want it back before we head to Drylliad. You stole it before didn't you?
I don't need it! I am the real Prince Jaron and I won't present myself with a a fake sword.
Why did you do that? Are you crazy or something?
I forgive you, but Conner needs to know absolutely nothing about this.
I am sorry for having been so blind, Your Highness.
I saw Mott coming in the distance and looking at me. I saw him holding the replica of Prince Jaron's sword.
I threw the sword in the lake. I didn't want to become king with a fake sword. I wanted the real one.
Mott was starting to notice some differences in me. For a moment he stopped seeing Sage the orphan and started to see Prince Jaron, the future king.
