By: Adam Picewicz
It all started on April 14, 1865, in the main lobby of the Fords theater in Washington D.C
I can't wait to see this lovely play, Mary! This will be such a nice evening.
You bet! This will be so nice.
But Lincoln didn't know that this "lovely' evening will shake the history of the world forever. A man named John Wilkes Booth was going to assassinate the president.
In going to take out the president by shooting him in the back of the head with a pistol!
Later on the night, John Wilikes Booth snuck behind the President...
and shot him in the back of the head with a pistol at point blank range!
As John escapes from the crime scene, he yells," Sic semper tyrannis!" and runs away throught the back of the stage.
Sic semper tyrannis!
