Hi, my name is Tommy Adams. I live in Beverly, MA and am a freshman at Beverly High School. I find it important to efficiently manage my well-being, which includes 5 separate domains, but I could also improve. Here's how:
I am currently on the Freshman Basketball team at BHS. By playing on the team, I contribute to my personal physical well-being. Physical well-being is simply a statement for taking care of your body. This means eating well, exercising, enough sleep, and receiving medical care.I can better my physical well- being by starting a daily morning run to go on.
Every day, I, along with my peers, attend school to study, learn, and to complete my work. This improves my intellectual well-being, which is learning to solve problems and challenges, job and career activities, and personal life. One specific thing that I could do in the future would be to read more often for pleasure.
Social well-being is classified as having a network of friends and family. Currently, I hang out with my friends and family to have a good time. If I wanted to improve my social life, I could join a social network such as Facebook.
Every now and then, my school work gets the best of me, and I begin to stress over school matters. This stress in my life takes away from my emotional well- being. Emotional well-being
The last domain of well-being includes financial, which is managing money in ways that build a sense of understanding, competence, and control. I do this by managing and saving the money I have in my wallet and also in my savings account. In the future, I will become occupied with a job, which will allow me to receive earnings.
