The witch hurried back to the castle as quickly as she could. She knew she had to hurry, for if the princess was under the curse for too long, she could remain that way forever.
When the witch reached Aurora, she regretted everything that she had done. She was so angry with herself for doing something so horrible to her.
The witch knew that she couldn't do anything for her. She loved the young princess so much that she gave her a kiss on the cheek. At that very moment, Aurora opened her eyes and the whole castle woke up with her. The witch was so surprised to see that she had broken the curse. Aurora was saved!
When the king and queen both saw the witch near Aurora, they were angry and ordered for her to be banished from the kingdom. Luckily, Aurora stepped in and reassured her parents. She told them of everything that she did for her. Finally, she convinced her parents that the witch was good, and even though they were still learning to trust her, they forgave the witch for what she did.
The king and queen threw a huge party in celebration of their daughter. When the kingdom learned what the witch did for Aurora, they were all very thankful. And they all lived happily ever after!
