  • This story is based on a play written by William Shakespeare in 1596.
  • Marriage
  • We begin with 2 star crossed lovers whose fate has drawn them together at a Capulets Party. At first glance they instantly fall in love, despite Romeo's previous affection for Rosaline.
  • Conflict Begins
  • The lovers (Romeo and Juliet) meet up a little after the party to exchange thoughts and feelings. They understand how strong their relationship is and want to get married.
  • Two Star-Crossed Lovers at their knees to Fate
  • Romeo and Juliet exchange vows and get married in secret. This is because of their passion for each other is so strong that they needed to get married and have a symbol that means that their relationship cant be broken.
  • Capulets and Montagues unexpectedly meet up at the beach following this Romeo's friend Mercutio is there waiting for Romeo. Romeo appears but is brutally beaten by Tybalt a capulet. In an effort to stop this Mercutio stops and almost kills Tybalt but is stopped by Romeo. Suddenly Tybalt kills Mercutio and in an act of revenge, Romeo kills Tybalt and is banished from Verona.
  • Juliet plans to pretend to be dead using a potion. This plan fails when Juliet's messenger never reaches Romeo. Unfortunately Romeo arrives and see's Juliet "dead". He drinks poison and just before he dies Juliet wakes and witnesses Romeo's suicide. Juliet, like Romeo is unable to cope with her lover being dead so she also commits suicide.
