MODERN TRANSLATION OF DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE

Today we have gathered to discuss the drfting of the Declaration of independence. We are here to work together as one to seek freedom from a kingdom that we have not been given the rights to be apart of. The King has continuously diminished us as members and we are here to put an end to it. Today will be the start of a new beginning in the 13 colonies' history.
"We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are LIFE, LIBERTY and the pursuit of HAPPINESS." Our rights are ensured to us, no one is able to take away the rights that we were born with. We the people give you the government the power to rule!
It is the right of the people to abolish a government that is not following rules that should be followed to ensure the best for the people. The King has neglected us the people to our rights and has not made an effort to make the government good and beneficial for the people. The King time and time again has denied us what is righfully deserved to us.
A few example of the many times that the King has denied us our natural rights include the following: He has forbidden his governors to pass laws of immediate and pressing importance; he calls legislative meetings in unusual places we cannot attend; he has made judges dependent n his will alone; for cutting off our trade with others around the world; for imposing taxes without our consent; just to name a few.
We have been patient for far to long in the hope that the government would lighten up on their standings, that they would change their ways for we have given them ample warning. We have been consistent in bringing to the attention of the King that our actions to rebel against his taxes and acts have reason behind them. Forcing us the people to pay for a war we had no part in or to care for soldiers that eat and drink our supplies dry; people can only be pushed so much.
We therefore the Representative of the 13 colonies have come together to draft and sign this document to make it known to you that we are and are given the right to be free. Free from your rule and any allegiance to you is now to be dissolved for ever. We the people of the 13 colonies are prepared to be free states and to have all rights that free states are granted, everything from the power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances etc. WE ARE PREPARED TO FIGHT FOR WHAT WE DESERVE
