  • I feel so betrayed... Germany must have won the war.
  • It is not far! After everything Ialy have done, we only recieve this few territories.
  • Rise of radicalism and weakness of democracies
  • POLAND
  • The start of WWII
  • ALLIES (Britain, France, USSR,USA)
  • AXIS (Germany, Italy, Japan)
  • After World War I, there was a lot of resentment from Germany and Italy. This war also caused high expenses and human and material looses.
  • The Axis offensive
  • Poland (divided with USSR)
  • INVASIONS OF GERMANY
  • People feared a communist revolution, so the radical parties like fascism and totalitarianism started gaining followers. Hitler was elected German Chancellor. He rejected the borders established in the Treaty of Versailles and expanded. Despite he couldn´t, he invaded Poland knowing this could led to a war.
  • The turning point
  • There were several battles: Battle of Midway:USA won against Japan. Battle of Al Alamein:Britain defeated german troops Battle of Stalingrad:Red army launched a contra offensive against germany who was defeated
  • Hitler´s thoughts weren´t wrong, as soon as he invaded Poland, Britain and France declared war to Germany.
  • Final Allied victory
  • Hitler committed suicided and Germany surrendered
  • 
  • USSR (started invading it, but they retired)
  • Low Countries & Belgium
  • Scandinavia & Denmark (steel)
  • Britain (resisted the air attack)
  • France (2 parts: North &Vichy)
  • 1942: It was a decisive year in which there were too many battles. The Allies started to win and not Germany
  • It took from 1944-1945 Any factors such as the atomic bombs,the occupation of the Soviets in Berlin... all these factors made axis countries to surrendered. Finally Allies won the world war II!
  • Japan suffered atomic bombs that destroyed countries such as Nagashaki and Hiroshima. Japan also surrendered
