  • I'm sorry we can't eat this week I had to pay taxes
  • Mom I'm hungry 
  • Just eat your boot. 
  • I haven't eaten in like 3 days
  • Russia didn't have enough food or supplies. Also debts, rent and taxes kept most Russian peasants poor.
  • Sooo...lets make a good enough government to last us a while
  • Russia didn't have sufficient food, appropriate armaments, or decent roads to supply its army.
  • The soldiers sided with the demonstrators. In 1917 the Czar was abducted, giving up the throne. He and his family were imprisoned.
  • A temporary government was set up until a constitutional assembly could be elected.
  • The Petrograd Soviet of Workers' and Soldiers' Deputies were organized when unrest began in Russia. They wanted the war to continue. 
  • Bolsheviks were a radical fraction of Russia who won over the Mensheviks for control who was led by Lenin.
