  • Act One
  • A liquor store?! You actually want that Willy Harris to invest in it
  • Yes. You can not make fun of us because we've never been in a business let us learn.
  • Act One
  • We need a house. So the answer is no. There ain't going to be no investing in no liquor store. I'm buying the house I'll update you when I have all the info!
  • But Mama...
  • Act Two
  • Well I, guess there's going to be some now
  • You do know that there are no colored people in Clybourne park, right?
  • That's the peace and comfort you went out and bought for us today! Great...
  • Walter wants to get a liquor store but mama does not want Walter to get liquor store because she feels that it unsafe for him. Mama discusses the discomfort with Ruth.
  • Act Two
  • Take the rest of the money and put it in your checking account. You can decide what you want to do with it.
  • Mama breaks the news that Walter can not get what he always wanted and says that he can not buy the liquor store. Walter feel upset because his dream has always been to open up a liquor store.
  • Act Three
  • Yes, Mr Lindner I know we made plans but I decided to move into our house because of family especially for my dad.
  • Mama gathers up Ruth and Walter to tell them where she has decided to buy the new house. While Ruth is a little up and down by the decision, Walter does not feel happy because now he is certian he can not open up a liquor store.
  • Act Three
  • Mom, Asagai asked me to marry him and then move to Africa with him.
  • Mama ends up feeling bad for her son Walter and decides to give Walter the rest of the money she got from the 10,000 to put on Walter's checking account. Mama ends up wanting to believe more in her son. In Raisin In the Sun Mama says, "I ain’t never stop trusting you. Like I ain’t never stop loving you.”
  • Wow...Can't believe you really trust me with that amount of money.
  • Walter makes the decision to make plans with Lindner to sell the house but Walter ends up not selling the house and keeps it. He tells Lindner that he is not selling it because of what his dad meant to him and how he has a kid is important to him.
  • FOR SALE
  • I respect that Walter. If you are that final about it.. . there is nothing left for me to say.
  • The family which includes Benetha, Walter and Mama . Walter and the family works it out and bonds together. They make a final decision to not move out and they felt it was the right move.
  • You guys come on. These guys charge by the hour, you know.
  • You are too young to marry anyone Benetha.
