This trader has entered Ghana and has to pay taxes.
Here in Ghana we have taxes. So every time that you pass through you need to pay taxes..
Trader reaches the trading spot and lays down his salt and he bangs the drum, then walks away.
The trader that wants the salt puts two golds down.
The Trader Takes the two gold for the salt trade with the other trader. He then heads for his camel.
The trader ended his Journey on the Saharan Trade Route and traveled back to the North Africa and went with on his life.
For this trader. Africa makes it difficult for traveling, the traveling was undefined and some traders can and did get lost in the Sahara and resulted in death. The government in Ghana or the King was wanted gold. He charged all travelers one gold for every time you come through Ghana.
