This is Sisyphus and his wife, Merope. Sisyphus was a king who loved life. In fact, he loved life so much that he even tried to cheat death!
As King of Corinth, I think that I should rule forever.
But dear, how can you rule forever? We are not immortal.
Sisyphus! I am death and the time has come for you to come with me.
Now, Sisyphus certainly didn't want to die, as that hindered his plan to live forever. So, he decided to trick death.
Well... I suppose you're right. Just come help me from my throne.
Merope we don't have much time before death becomes free, so listen carefully. When I die, do not perform a burial for me, okay?
Once Death freed himself, he was very angry and took Sisyphus to the underworld. However, Merope did as her huasband ask and did not give him a burial.
I understand, but your actions may anger the gods!
