  • Caesar is advised by a soothsayer to beware and Caesar brushes his warning aside.
  • beware the ides of march!
  • Cassius is trying to flatter Brutus and introduce the idea of getting rid of Caesar.
  • Brutus and Caesar; what should be in that Caesar? ... "Brutus" will start a spirit as soon as "Caesar"
  • Casca tells how Caesar was offered to be king, but he declined it and then fell from a seizure , but everyone thought he fainted.
  • There was a crown offered him; and being offered him, he put it by, and the people fell a'shouting
  • Cassius is telling Cinna to go throw letters that look like the're from the civillians, flattering Brutus and telling him he'd be a better leader
  • Good Cinna, take this paper...throw this at his window...set up with wax upon Brutus's statue...
