  • The narrator states"I look down as I was finishing the last row" which means he was watching how he was watching him slowly die.
  • This shows the narrator was trying to show how Montresor was searious about killing Fortunado and don't hold back and not thinking of this as a joke
  • Montresors revenge isint justified so he should be killed or sent to jail.
