A teen girl named Evie attends her older brother's funeral. He was walking to a restaurant one evening after his college classes and is hit by a car. He dies upon impact. Now an only child, Evie thinks that since she said she wouldn't miss him when he left (because she's a teen) that her brother Ryan's death was her fault. Her friends eventually convince her that it wasn't her fault at all, and that night her brother's ghost visits her. Ryan tells Evie that he will always be with her and then he leaves. Evie smiles and goes to sleep. (End)
No. You don't know my pain.
Roses were Ryan's favorite flowers.
I know your pain, Evie. We all loved him.
