Storyboard Text

  • Will you say that I am mad?
  • I am not mad! I just want to kill a man because of his eye. Is that madness?
  • Exposition: In the beginning the mad man try's convincing us that he is not mad. The man seems as if he is a butler or nephew. He lives with an old man. The mad man thinks the old man has an Evil Eye. The mad man hates his eye.
  • Conflict: There are two conflicts. The first one is mad man having a man vs. self conflict since he is trying to convince himself he is not mad. The second one is the mad man and old man having a man vs. man since the mad man wants to kill the old man for his eye.
  • You can search all you please, I have nothing to hide!
  • Rising Action: The mad man sticks his head in the old mans room every night for seven nights. He looks at his eye every time. He has a lot of patience because he slowly sticks his head in just to look at the old mans eye.
  • I admit the deed! His body is under the floor boards!
  • Climax: On the 8th night the mad man look in and he makes a noise and wakes the old man. When the mad man looks at the eye he see's that its open. He then puts a mattress on the man, suffocates him, chops him up and puts him under the floor boards.
  • Falling Action: The neighbor calls the police because he hears a scream. The police come to the house and searches it. The mad man sets up chairs in the old mans bedroom.
  • Resolution: While the police talk the mad man gets paranoid. The mad man starts thinking he can hear the old mans heart. He couldn't take it anymore so he yells and admits to the crime.
