  • I still cannot believe we are going to England.
  • I'm so glad you guys are excited! I think it would be great for you guys to learn about England from something other than the textbook.

  • Mrs. Yi's Class is going to learn about Old England and their monarchy.

  • Old England is one example of a monarchy. They have always had a queen, but in Old England the king and queen had much more power. Now England'd royalty is more of a symbol to their people and those who visit.
  • HELLO?

  • The advantage of a traditional monarchy is that the people know where the decisions are coming from. A disadvantage is that the queen and king are not on the same class level as their people so they may not know what is best for them.
  • That trip was so much fun!

  • An advantage of a Constitutional monarchy is that the power lies with a large group of people. A disadvantage of a constitutional monarchy is that the King and Queen are only figure heads. They become more of symbols to the people of England and those who visit it.
  • The current queen of England is Queen Elizabeth II. she has been ruling for about 64 years.
