Hello air molecules, taking up the space in the room! Look at all those tuna casserole particles.
All of the tuna casserole particles are sublimating from high temperature.
The temperature increases, making the molecules and particles spread farther apart and faster moving.
I can smell all of the tuna casserole particles, they're moving around in a gaseous state!
Temperature goes up.*
The tuna casserole and water are different because they're made up of different things. So they have different properties!
My tuna casserole starts off as a liquid, then it bakes at a high temperature, then when it gets even higher, some of the casserole sublimates into a gas.
