I need to find the area of the wall because it needs a paint job.
Well first I need to measure the length and width to find the area.
The length in feet is 7 1/2 feet and the width is 14 3/4 feet.
So since the formula to find area is length times width, I have to multiply 7 1/2 feet times 14 3/4 feet. Area = Length times width!
A= L x W A= 7 1/2 x 14 3/4 A= 110 5/8 sq ft
The area is 110 5/8 ft 2
What would the area of the wall be if the length was 8 1/2 feet and the width was 16 3/4 feet?
