  • OH RIGHT, HERE WE GO:
  • NO NO NO NONONO, WE ARE DONE WITH THIS< WE NEED TO DISCUSS THIS IN THE MOST CIVIL OF WAYS.
  • Let me just cut this off...
  • Woohoo, now we can create our own, amazing Bowtie Organized Nation for Gary and Gabby. We can all have a say in the running of things
  • Ugh, I drank WAY too much strawberry juice.
  • Hobbes... Your view of the State of Nature is simply incorrect.
  • NO! I AM AN ANGRY OLD MAN WHO CAN'T HANDLE THAT HE MIGHT BE POSSIBLY WRONG-- Er, I believe it is absolutely correct. All the evidence in my thought experiment points to perpetual war.
  • Blah blah blah blah, You're wrong.
  • Debate St. <400...............300>
  • PERPETUAL WAR AND AN ABSOLUTE SOVEREIGN MAKES THE WORLD GO 'ROUND!
  • Hello! Hel-
  • It is clear that Consent of the Majority is a better plan. Men do not want to be without representation in decision-making. But, they have shown the capacity to accept defeat.
  • We are not discussing a perfect government, we are discussing a government where people have a say in the way things are run! That is the only way to remain fair to the governed.
  • Debate St. <400...............300>
  • Fairness toward the governed holds no place in a government. The government is there to assure that the Natural Right of the people (to preserve their own life).
  • Governments will face gridlock *wink* if they go with your plan. An absolute sovereign is the only way to achieve a working government.
  • No, a man has not rights to his life only, but also to his liberty and property. The government is there to uphold the contract the citizens have established, and provide them with a better life than they would have had in the State of Nature.
  • Nothing Beats An Astronaut
  • Defishbate St. <420...............3.14>
  • FOOL! We coulda been contenders. We coulda been somebodies, instead of... this!
  • <-Debate St. Bar-> Tonight: Hobbes v. Locke With special guests: Gary and Gabby
  • This endless bickering will leave us nowhere new. I have come to my senses Locke let us make our own contract of sorts: We'll both agree that... my way is better.
  • Want to try it again?
  • ...Hobbes?
  • But of course.
  • Locke.
  • THE END
