  • The greek god Aphrodite considered herself the fairest god of them all and didn't even think herself comparable with her half sister Helen.
  • So while during a wedding, Eris, the spirit of disagreement caused a argument over who was the fairest of them all.
  • The gods called a prince named Paris to decide who was the fairest, who said whoever gave him the greatest bribe would be the fairest
  • Aphrodite offered Paris her half sister Helen as a bride so that he would proclaim her the fairest.
  • The king of Sparta heard that his wife, Helen, had been kidnapped by Paris and called many different Greek kings to help him. Sparking the Trojan War
  • Aphrodite, the goddess of love, considered herself the loveliest god of them all. So during a wedding when an argument erupted over who was the prettiest. Paris, the prince of Troy, was called to decide who was the fairest. Aphrodite offered Paris her half sister, Helen, as a bribe so he would say she was the prettiest. Paris agreed and took Helen back to Troy but the king of Sparta who was married to Helen, rallied the other Greek kings to help him rescue her, sparking the Trojan war.
