There was a boy named Jacob who was 12, had brown curly hair, was 5 ft tall and had a friend named Ben. He is in the 7th grade and his school has a talent show every year. He wants to enter but does not know what to do. So he decided to lip sing one of his favorite songs. He persuaded Ben to help him.
He knew that there would be other lip singers so he wants to pick a unique song so he would not sound redundant to the audience. He recently read a biography on his favorite singer.
Him and Ben went home and started working on their plan. They started to cite evidence on how to lip sing and watched videos of people lip singing and looked at the mistakes not to make.
When Jacob went to the bathroom ben watched a video of a crowd getting mad because a singer was lip singing and it got rough. Once Jacob got out Ben started to contrast the likelihood of pulling it off and told Jacob he shouldn’t do it. He ignored him and they practiced and edited the disc so it would sound like him. The song he chose was a cultural song.
The day of the talent show he was nervous and revisioned the song. Once it was his time to go up stage he started mouthing the words and all went well. But then it went out of tone and the voice was going up and down but he tried to sing to the tone even though it was messed up.
But at the end of the show people told him that is was funny because they thought it was a comedy skit.
