One night a new Greek CITIZEN was born outside this hut. His name was Agathe, and he was going to be the next great soldier for Sparta.
Come on guys, lets go home. Wait..... which way do we go?
When Agathe was 8 years old, along with other boys that were sent away from his mother and father to a training camp that will train boys to be soldiers when they were old enough. Some boys became ALLY'S with each other and would protect each other when one boy was in need.
Let's stay here for the night.
Agathe had been training for 11 years, and got called up to his first battle. It was against the PERSIAN EMPIRE and he was ready to fight.
It's the village!! We have finally come home!
Only a few soldiers survived the war against the Persian Empire. When Agathe and two others went home after the war, it was named the PERSIAN WARS.
The soldiers stopped at a clearing in the middle of the woods. They were so tired. Along the way to their stopping point, they had a met an old MERCHANT. The merchant gave them food and told of the clearing where they sit or stand.
Agathe and the other two soldiers finally got back home to their ISOLATED COMMUNITY in the winter and late at night. They were so happy to finally be home and have survived the war. They knew it was their home because candles in the front windows were lit just like the soldiers left them.
