  • The Magna Carta
  • Hooray
  • Bubonic Plague Commoner's Perspective
  •  How did  Feudalism begin to decline? To understand we need to look at different events and perspectives. A Nobleman, a Knight, and a Commoner tell their side of the story.
  • Hundred Years War  Knight's Perspective
  • I will lead my people into battle with honor
  • Wow King John signed it! It is the start of a new era and now the King's power is limited. Now us Barons and Noblemen have a say in any tax increase or creating new ones! Although we agreed to let the monarch stay in power I have a feeling that  we will be able to rise to the top because of the way the Magna Carta protects our privileges and rights!
  • How This Lead to the Decline of Feudalism
  • My family is gone, my friends are gone, my village is gone! As I walk through the rows of homes in my village, I look through the windows to find a family dead or dying. If there is ever an end to this I will get whoever is to blame, no matter what the controversy, I don"t care if I must use god's name in spite if he cursed us, or fight the Jews my self for cursing us with this, or slaying every leper there is for spreading this.   I also have no idea what is going to happen in the current power struggle, but I do know that I must find food for myself because all the usual harvesters are gone and I have to eat if I am going to live through the tragedies. If I do They will need my people dearly for the repair of our empire!
  • Obtaining and Maintaining Power
  • I am proud to lead my people into battle against the French for it is in the name of God and glory! I knew we were sure to win after our first successes. Little did I know that the power of one small girl could have such an affect on one army. It is however amusing to watch as we military men become independent in military technology and observe the noblemen and kings losing status as they are not much of use, no longer providing our weapons. It is also a pity that all of our commoners have come to fight but I heard some talks of rising up amongst them. I know that Knights will however reign supreme!
  • The commoners like me who survived the war and the plague were able to rise to the top. After these two factors were in motion the empire really needed a way to rebuild it's self to power, and we were the answer. We gained our power through our being able to work leaving us with a lot of influence in power.  Us Knights came runner up for the race of who should gain the power of the empire. Only because of the halt of need for nobles in the battlefield. How could this have happened? We nobles were so strategic on how we were going to have influence and power and it backfired as the Magna Carta began to protect everyone's rights and not only ours!
  • Noblemen
  • Knights
  • COMMONERS
  • After the decline of Feudalism, we commoners gained power and influence, and the power of the monarchs will never return to what it was.
  • I have gained my power from the decline of feudalism!
