  • Potent was a chef who would do anything to be the best. He went up for a contest to cook a meal for Zues and his family.
  • Climax
  • ANYTHING? Well, you should be more careful.
  • He worked day and night to make the perfect dish. But, he couldn't do it. He forced his children to work with him. He wanted to create something new. His dishes were perfect, but not to a god.
  • Falling Action
  • POP!
  • Potent's children went to Zeus and asked him to make them win. They were tired of working all day and wanted to go outside and play. They said they would do anything.
  • Resolution
  • I am the best chef! ;)
  • POP!
  • Zeus did help them win, but it came at a price! He turned them into potatoes.
  • Potent found the mysterious veggies in his kitchen, but no kids. He cut them up and fried them. He tasted them and it was like the gods were dancing on his taste buds. He didn't know were to find the veggies, so he begged Zues to make more.
  • No, this was too high a price!
  • After Potent and his children were turned in to these veggies, Zeus noted his culinary sacrifice and named this veggie after Potent; it would be called the potato. Thanks to Potent, everyone knows to be careful what they wish for.
