  • Propeling the action

  • Outcome
  • “ Content with Hermia! No; I do repent the tedious minutes I with her have spent.”
  • Oberon sends puck to fetch a flower that will make Titania Fall in love with him.
  • Key Event
  • " Thou, Thou, Lysander, Thou hast given her rhymes and interchanged love tokens with my child" (Shakespeare 5).
  • Puck finds the flower and drops it into the wrong person. He confronts Oberon about it and they decide how to fix it.
  • Propelling the action
  • " Demetrius loves your fair: o happy fair. Your eyes are lode stars, and your tongue's sweet air" (Shakespeare 12).
  • Due to Pucks wrong doings, Lysander falls in love with Helena, instead of Demetrius falling in love with her.
  • Outcome
  • "Take comfort: He no more shall see my face' Lysander and myself will fly this place" (Shakespeare 13).
  • Egeus is declaring that Lysander has stolen away Hermia's heart from Demetrius. That is not what happened how ever since Hermia was in love with Lysander the whole time. Demetrius claims to be in love with her still but she still is not in love with him.
  • Helena comes in, still in love with Demetrius and thinking that Hermia is to. She finally hears that Hermia does not love him and hears of their planes to run away due to the fact that Hermia will be killed if she is not with Demetrius.
  • Lysander and Hermia are so determined to be together that they realise they can run away and live some where where they can be together. So that's what they do, they leave and hope to live happily together.
