Storyboard Text

  • Mrs. Arianna's Third Grade Class
  • Class, I want you to work in groups and identify similarities and differences between the two boys from different cultures in the story.
  • Arianna's class has just finished reading a multi-cultural educational story and will soon begin the day's lesson activity.
  • Today's Topic: Compare and Contrast
  • The boy living in Morocco celebrates a holiday called Eid and was responsible for helping his family with their farm. The boy in Australia celebrated Christmas and lives in the city.
  • Students work in their pairs. They share and write down similarities and differences.
  • But both the boys had similar hobbies! They both loved to draw and play with their dogs and loved their families.
  • Mary and Ryan, I really like the way you compared the two boys from the story but showed how similar they are with the hobbies they enjoy. Great work!
  • Mrs. Arianna's Third Grade Class
