  • The Tell-Tale Heart Author: Edgar Allan Poe
  • Every night at mid-night the man would creep into the old man's room and look at his blue eye. Until one night the old man had heard him.
  • Who's there?
  • I love the old man but his eye must go!
  • The man was finally indignant  and he eliminated the old man.
  • The man then started to dismember the old man's body and conceal his body parts under the floor boards of his bedroom before the sun acended.
  • The man is greeting the officers that showed up at the old man's house after a concerned neighbor called them. 
  • Sure
  • The old man isn't home right now but you are welcome to come in and take a look for yourself.
  • The man could no longer keep up his act because he felt guilty for killing the old man and he finally confessed.
