Theseus the Duke of Athens is to be married to Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazonians. They are interrupted by Egeus who wants his daughter to marry Demetrius even though she loves Lysander.
Act IV- Falling Action
Back in the woods, Puck attempts to fix this love triangle by making Demetrius fall in love with Helena but mistakes Demetrius for Lysander. They both love Helena, no one loves Hermia.
The young lovers meet in the woods and argue amongst each other. Lysander and Demetrius argue over Helena, Hermia thinks that Helena stole Lysander. Puck comes in attempting to fix his mistake by using the same potion.
Titania and the young lovers are all released from the spell. They are all confused and questioning whether what just happened was reality or just a dream. Theseus lets the young lovers marry who they wish.
