Continental drift is the theory that once, all of our continents were together as one SUPER continent. Then, they all started moving away from each other, very slowly, over a long period of time. Eventually ending up where they are now! Isn't that so cool?
Over 250 million years actually! So, yes that island is a little bit further away than it was last year, but not so much that you would be able to notice it. In fact, it only moved about a centimeter!
