  • Condi Rice was born on November 14, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama. Condi Rice was born an only child to John Wesley Rice and Angelena Rice. Condi Rice grew up surronded by racism, however she went on to be very succesful.
  • Condi Rice was the first African American woman, and second woman to serve as U.S. Secretary of State, appointed by President George W. Bush. Condi Rice was also the first woman ever to serve as a provost of Standford University.
  • Regardless of how much racism she went through throughout her life, Condi Rice accomplished a lot. Condi Rice is important in being the First African Amercian woman to serve as Secretary of State, she shows anyone can do anything regardless of race
