This storyboard does not have a description.
Ouch I'm bleeding! But it's starting to stop, why is it stopping?
Your blood is clotting making a small layer to protect against bacteria and so you stop bleeding out, so that's why your face has stopped bleeding.
What causes my blood to clot?
Well if you want to start from the beginning, when you took that punch and got cut and bled, it alerted the receptors, the receptors are what responds to what's happening in your environment. It then alerts the me, the control center, by sending the alert through the afferent pathway.
I then decide what to do in response to what has happened to interrupt the homeostasis I've been maintaining. So once I've decided to do, I send the message through the efferent pathway to the effector, which then enforces my decision and does what I wanted it to do.
What happens next?
Thanks Mr. Brain!
Oh wow, so you wanted me to stop bleeding, so that's what the effector did?
