  • EXPOSITION: A feud between the Montagues and Capulets rages on over time. Each side satisfies their anger with fountain of each others blood
  • I do bite my thumb, sir.
  • Do you bite your thumb at us sir?
  • CONFLICT: They seal their forbidden love in a secret wedding despite the conciquences 
  • For this alliance may so happy prove to turn your households' rancor to pure love
  • 
  • RISING ACTION: Mercutio's death lead to Romeo killing Tybalt and being banished from Verona.
  • My husband lives, that Tybalt would have slain, and Tybalts dead, that would have slain my husband. All this is comfort. Wherefore weap I then?
  • CLIMAX: Balthasar, Romeos faithful servant tells him of Juliet's tragic death.  
  • Her  body sleeps and capels' monument immortal part with angels lives
  • Is it e'en so? Then I defy you stars!
  • FALLING ACTION: Overcome with grief of his lost love Romeo loses his will to live  and makes a plan to commit suicide.
  • Come hither, man. I see that thou art poor. Hold, there is forty ducats. Let me have a dream of poison, such soon-speeding gear as will disperse itself through my veins that the life weary taker may fall dead.
  • Such mortal drugs I have, but Mantua's law is death to any he that utters them.
  • RESOLUTION: The love story ends tragically with bloodshed Romeo kills Count Paris to avoid imprisonment, then drinks poison to kill himself. Soon after Juliet wakes and sees that Romeo is dead and stabs herself. Then Friar Lawrence is forced to explain. Ultimately the feud and THE STORY ENDS.
