  • The 15th amendment was ratified on February 3, 1870. It gave all men who are the age of 21 and above, and who are U.S. citizens the right to vote. African Americans now have the right to vote and not only can whites give their opinions on who they want to be president, but so can blacks.
  • African Americans now have the right to vote!
  • That's great!
  • Daddy, we can finally be like the whites!
